New doorstep selling rules:
From October 1st 2008 if you buy services or products from traders in your home you have 7 days in which you can change your mind.
Even if the business does not give you the 7 days they will not be able to enforce the contract during that time frame. Any business that does not accept the seven day rule can be opening the doors to a Trading Standards investigation, a prosecution and a fine. - 716 Topics
